But, you also found that uninsulated hot water pipe in the ceiling... were you able to wrap that? (though, a hot water pipe, unless hot water on that circuit is being used, probably isn't going to dump as much heat into the attic space as a halogen can light that would probably be used quite a bit more than the hot water...)
